Thomas Zarnstroff
5th Grade
I am the fifth child in a family of ten,
born into a farming family where church was the center to everything. I
attended a Lutheran grade school and high school. I graduated from Dr. Martin
Luther College (now known as MLC). While at New Ulm, I met my future wife,
Cindy. Upon graduation, Cindy received a call to Anchorage, AK. We were married
a year later and she took me away to Alaska. We worked side by side at the
school there for many years. God gave us two sons and two daughters to raise
and guide. After the school was closed, the Lord called us to serve the
children at Peridot. I am enjoying this year much more than the ‘covid year’,
being able to work with the children rather than speaking to a computer.
Hobbies & Interests:
I enjoy camping, fishing, gardening, and woodworking
(building things). I also enjoy crossword puzzles & sudoku.
